Henry Cavill Channels Aquaman in Fun Photo

We may not have any idea when we're going to see Henry Cavill's Superman in the big screen again, but Cavill is showing support for another member of his DCEU family, Jason Momoa. Check out this fun picture of himself channeling Aquaman:

For now, Cavill is hard at work being cast as the lead in Netflix's The Witcher adaptation. While some think him working for Netflix is a sign that he left the Superman role, I think it's more accurate to say that he went off to do another job as DC currently has no idea what they want to do with Superman next.

There are rumors going around that Superman is set to make a cameo in the upcoming Shazam! movie. It was said that he didn't have the time to work on the film, but with the extended period for reshoots, I imagine that Cavill had even just one day to come on set and do a small part. Heck, someone with a camera and green screen could get themselves to the Witcher set and shoot just a little cameo with Cavill.

While the DCEU had a major stumble with Justice League, it seems that Aquaman has gotten the franchise back on its feet; then again, the DCEU is only as strong as its last movie. With 2019-2020 lined up with projects like Shazam!, Joker, Birds of Prey, and Wonder Woman 1984, everyone has their fingers crossed that each film manages to impress and break DC out of their cinematic funk.
