Heavenly Delusion: A Post-Apocalyptic Gem
Based on the manga written and illustrated by Masakazu Ishiguro, Heavenly Delusion is a post-apocalyptic, sci-fi anime.
After a disaster that left Japan in ruins, children are raised by robots within a walled zone.
This walled area is called Heaven and its residents believe that the outside world is nothing but Hell inhabited by monsters.
Then, one day, a student named Tokio receives a message asking if she wants to go outside of the outside.
Elsewhere, beyond the walled area, young survivors Kiruko and Maru team up to look for a special place named Heaven.
They both carry the burdens of their past and are looking for answers amid the chaos of a world filled with man-eaters.
Will There Be a Heavenly Delusion Season 2?
As of now, there has been no official announcement about Heavenly Delusion Season 2.
However, the series has been significantly successful in the Spring 2023 anime season.
As such, the series’ success may prompt the creators to continue adapting the manga in Heavenly Delusion Season 2.
What to Expect in Heavenly Delusion Season 2
Since the Heavenly Delusion manga is still ongoing, there is plenty of source material that can be adapted.
Heavenly Delusion Season 2 is expected to showcase Kiruko and Maru’s journey as they attempt to unravel the mysteries of this post-apocalyptic world.
