Marry My Husband made its debut on Prime Video on January 1, 2024, with a couple of episodes getting released every week. Ever since the show launched, it has gained attention from the public for its thought-provoking and sharp scenes.

But what is the Kdrama about?

Based on a webtoon of the same title, Marry My Husband follows the story of cancer-stricken Ji-Won (played by Park Min-Young), who was murdered by her husband (played by Lee Yi-kyung) and mistress (played by Song Ha-yoon).

When she awakens, however, Ji-Won finds herself back to a decade ago when she's still single and healthy.

Realizing that this is her chance to live her life differently, she sets out to live her life on her terms instead of what everyone around her wants. To do that, she has to get her traitor best friend, Soo-min (Song Ha-yoon) to marry her husband, Min-hwan.

In episode 4 of Marry My Husband, Ji-Won accompanies her boss, Yoo Ji-hyuk (played by Na In-woo) to present an app to Wang Heun-In (played by Jung Jae-Sung).

When Heun-In opens the app, he is disappointed to see that his feed is filled with provocative videos. The group exchanges shy smiles, however, because the app is based on an algorithm that shows things that the user is interested in.

To pacify the situation, Ji-Won tells Heun-In that when she first opened the app, it showed her He Was Delicious. But when she later used it, the algorithm adapted to show her what she wanted to see.

Later, as Ji-Hyuk drives Ji-Won home, he casually asks "How was He Was Delicious." This is met by a flustered Ji-Won who explains that she only said it to make Mr. Wang feel better.

Ji-Hyuk then teases her that it "felt real" and asks whether he should watch it too. Ji-Won responds that she hasn't watched it but keeps getting shy.

It's a truly cute scene that will make you enjoy the chemistry between the two.

But what is He Was Delicious from Marry My Husband? Is it a real show or movie?

The assumption is that He Was Delicious is a provocative film, given Ji-Won's reaction to Ji-Hyuk's teasing.

But after digging around, it looks like He Was Delicious isn't a real movie or show and was simply made up for the series.

It's possible that it has a Korean name, which is the real show that they referred to in Marry My Husband. But this has not yet been confirmed.

Marry My Husband has a total of 16 episodes, which will end sometime in February. You can stream the Kdrama on Amazon Prime Video.
