HBO Offering Game of Thrones (and More) Free Until Sunday

With Thanksgiving and Black Friday come a lot of great promotions. Just in, HBO is offering their biggest show Game of Thrones, free to watch from Thanksgiving until Sunday.

This news comes from Collider who says that users will be allowed to sample HBO's streaming service from Wednesday, Nov. 21 to Sunday, Nov. 25.Game of Thrones isn't the only free show either. Anyone looking to avail on the promo will also get to check out shows like Silicon Valley, Veep!, and Big Little Lies.

Ever since its premiere in 2011, Game of Thrones has grown to be one of the most popular pieces of pop-culture ever aired. It launched each actor in the show to A-List celebrity status, and it made a whole lot of people demand author George R.R. Martin to work faster; it's gotten so bad that the showrunners had to come up with their own stories for the show what with the Winds of Winter taking so long.

Even if Game of Thrones is set to end next year, HBO is also preparing a spinoff series which will take place thousands of years before the Battle of the Five Kings. Tentatively titled, The Long Night, the show is said to focus on the story of Westeros before the Targaryens ruled and the dragons forced the realms to bend the knee.

Catch Game of Thrones 8 when it premieres on HBO April of next year.
