HBO Drops Ominous New Poster For Game Of Thrones

Game of Thrones fans just have a couple more weeks till the fantasy epic returns with its eighth and final season on HBO and it looks like the network is adding even more hype by dropping a beautiful but terrifying poster for the series.

HBO just recently released a brand new poster for Game of Thrones Season 8, warning fans of the long night to come in the series' final set of episodes. In the image we get to see Game of Thrones' major players lying motionless in the snow in the shape of the iron snow.

There's certainly a lot of anticipation over the final season of Game of Thrones. Not only is the battle for the Iron Throne rearing up, but so is the battle against the long night. While Cersei (Leana Headey) might be preoccupied with keeping her place on the throne, Daenerys' (Emilia Clarke), Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) and everyone else up North are busy preparing for the inevitable battle against the Night King and his Army of the Dead.

It isn't going to be an easy fight. The Army of the Undead have already knocked down the Wall in the North using Viserion, the dragon that the Night King had slain and turned into one of his own during the last season of Game of Thrones.

We definitely can't wait to see what might be the outcome of the fight for life in Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones Season 8 premieres April 14, 2019.
