Haunting of Bly Manor Star Oliver Jackson-Cohen Continues Campaigning to Play MCU's Moon Knight

There is little doubt that Marvel Studios is already casting the lead characters in their upcoming Disney+ shows. However, there hasn't been any announcement about who will play Marc Spector in the highly anticipated Moon Knight series. So is there any chance that Oliver Jackson-Cohen will be cast for the role? The star of The Haunting of Bly Manor is still campaigning to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the mysterious comic book hero.

It's no secret that Jackson-Cohen has been actively campaigning to play Moon Knight. The actor has made it obvious on social media and appears to be truly enthusiastic about the role. Interestingly, the Invisible Man star recently told Comicbook.com that he learned a lot about Marc from netizens.

"Listen, Twitter is quite the encyclopedia and I have been very fortunate that people have educated me well on Moon Knight and Marvel and the world of it," Jackson-Cohen said.

So has Marvel reached out to him yet about the role? Unfortunately, Jackson-Cohen has yet to receive a phone call but he remains hopeful.

"The honest response is that I have no idea, no one has called me about this, but, again, I stand by what I said, that Moon Knight sounds like a fascinating, fascinating character, and I'd love to get my hands on that, but you just never know, do you?" he said.

For now, there haven't been any solid updates on the Moon Knight series. Hopefully, we'll get to hear from the show really soon. In the meantime, Jackson-Cohen will appear in The Haunting of Bly Manor, which premieres on Netflix on October 9.
