It has been over a decade since the original anime series aired, but finally, the new Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf anime has finally premiered.

Instead of being a continuation though, this is a new adaptation. It is also being animated by Passione (of Ishura fame) instead of the studios from the previous adaptation.

Some notable names are returning though, including the original voice cast. Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass) is back as Kraft Lawrence alongside Ami Koshimizu (Ryuko Matoi in Kill la Kill) as Holo.
