Han Solo Actor Alden Ehrenreich Stars in New Trailer for Brave New World

While he won't be reprising Han Solo anytime soon, Alden Ehrenreich has found himself cast as John the Savage in Peacock's upcoming adaptation of Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. We just got a new trailer for the show, and it looks nothing short of intriguing.

Here's a description of the show (via Variety):

Brave New World" imagines a utopian society that has achieved peace and stability through the prohibition of monogamy, privacy, money, family, and history itself. As citizens of New London, Bernard Marx and Lenina Crowne have only ever known a rigid social order, a perfect pharmaceutical called Soma, and a culture of instant gratification and ubiquitous sex. Curious to explore life beyond the strictures of their society, the two New Worlders embark on a vacation to the Savage Lands, where they become embroiled in a harrowing and violent rebellion. Bernard and Lenina are rescued by John the Savage (Ehrenreich), who escapes with them back to New London.

I have to say, though he's not playing Han Solo here, Ehrenreich is still giving off those rebel vibes that make him stand out in this clean-cut society. Though Solo: A Star Wars Story may have underperformed in the box office, Ehrenreich has still proven himself to be a great actor, not just in Star Wars, but in other projects like Hail, Caesar! as well.

While I'm certainly bummed we aren't getting more of Han Solo's stories, maybe interest in Brave New World will have Lucasfilm reconsider bringing Ehrenreich back. Let's #MakeSolo2Happen, people!

For now, Brave New World is set to debut alongside Peacock on July 15.
