Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3: Will Poulter Discusses Adam Warlock's MCU Future

There is little doubt that Adam Warlock is one of the most highly anticipated additions to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 but will he play a major role in the future Marvel Cinematic Universe films? Will Poulter weighed in on possibly returning as the MCU's new (literal) golden boy in more MCU projects.

Back in October 2021, Will Poulter was confirmed to play Adam Warlock in the third Guardians film. Since then, fans have been looking forward to seeing him in action.

So is Marvel already planning Adam's future in the MCU? Will Poulter revealed that it will all depend on how the audiences react to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

"It kind of hinges on how people respond to the character," Poulter told Comicbook.com. "If the fans don't like Adam Warlock, obviously I'm going to be pretty gutted."

"My family's opinion means a lot, but it's not necessarily going to bring me back as the character," he added.

It's too early to tell but it looks like Adam Warlock is going to be an interesting addition to the MCU. Still, his future could be bright and we're already looking forward to seeing more of him soon.

Although Will Poulter could have a bright future in the MCU, new co-star Chukwudi Iwuji is sure his character isn't going to be popular because of the High Evolutionary's actions towards animals in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Iwuji previously pointed out that he was relieved that he didn't have to film with animals because he didn't agree with his character's experiments.

"It really helped that when I was dealing with the animals, I wasn't really dealing with any animals, because it would have been much harder that way," he said.

Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3 will hit theaters on May 5, 2023.
