For months, there's been a lot of chatter surrounding DC Studios' large-scale plans but Gunn and Safran have been tight-lipped about every single detail, including casting decisions.

Speaking of casting, it looks like the Star-Lord actor is ready to end his MCU tenure as well to join his good friend and frequent collaborator. In an interview with Yahoo Entertainment, the Jurassic World and The Super Mario Bros. Movie actor jokingly "confirmed" that he's been cast as the new Batman.

When asked which DC character he could portray in live-action, he said: "Batman... it's just what America wants, and the rest of the world." Pratt even did his own Batman voice just for the heck of it.

Obviously, this is the actor's clever response to the whole "Chris Pratt gets cast in everything" discourse and it shouldn't be taken seriously. Check out the clip below:

It's worth mentioning that Vol. 3's end credits pretty much guaranteed a Star-Lord resurgence in the future. However, that's not to say that Pratt will just pass up the opportunity to reunite with Gunn over at the DC Universe.

Pratt even recently revealed that he's down to joining the DC Studios co-CEO over on "the other side", as long as Gunn thinks he's the right man for the job.

Meanwhile, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is screening in cinemas worldwide.
