Aside from the DC heroes featured in upcoming Arrowverse crossover for The CW Network, another hero will be given a new series, but this time, it's under HBO Max.

Greg Berlanti, creator of DC Universe shows with the likes of Supergirl, The Flash, and Arrow, he will now be working on a new project for HBO Max. Announced at the Warner Media's press event on Tuesday, Berlanti will be moving forward with a Green Lantern series.

The hero makes its first live-action appearance after quite a while following the 2011 Green Lantern film which Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds starred in. Berlanti will also be working on a Strange Adventures series.

During the presentation, Berlanti revealed to the press that both of the projects he'll be creating would be "unlike anything seen on television."
