Gravity Falls Creator Calls Out Mark Ruffalo for Grunkle Stan Costume

Mark Ruffalo turned heads at the New York Comic-Con when he surprised Jason Momoa while he was in disguise as Grunkle Stan from Gravity Falls. Now show creator Alex Hirsch as Grunkle Stan) calls out Ruffalo for being an ‘Imposter.'

Just for context, here's the video posted up by Ruffalo:

I have to admit, Ruffalo's mask was oddly realistic, and I think it's amazing that he actually went around as a full character at all. Usually other actors hiding incognito will just put on a simple costumeor just a mask, but Ruffalo really went all out with this one.

Now I'm just curious if he actually watches Gravity Falls, or someone just thought it was a cool costume for him to put on.

As for Jason Momoa, despite the "rivalry" between DC and Marvel, he was nothing but excited to see Ruffalo take of his outfit. It's rare moments like these that prove you don't really have to subscribe to just one fandom; just let people like whatever they like.

Ruffalo is currently in the spotlight right now for possibly spoiling the title of Avengers 4, but so far, nothing official has been revealed. We don't know if A4 will be his last stint at the Hulk character, but I would really want to see Ruffalo actually have his own standalone film despite the whole issue with Paramount.

Hirsch on the other hand, has signed a deal with Netflix to produce an animated series for the streaming service. Granted how amazing Gravity Falls ended up, I can't wait to see what Hirsch has in store for something like Netflix. Hopefully they let him go all out.

Avengers 4 is set to come out May 3, 2019.
