As obtained by KBizoom, entertainment reporter turned YouTuber Lee Jin Ho revealed on his channel that the soon-to-be husband and wife might have their wedding in the United States.
YouTuber Believes Gong Hyo Jin and Kevin Oh Will Have their Wedding in New York
In a YouTube video titled Gong Hyo Jin announced her October wedding. Why? The real identity of Kevin Oh, who is 10 years younger than her, Lee Jin Ho, shared that the award-winning actress asked for consideration from the production team regarding her filming schedule and the upcoming wedding.
“Gong Hyo-jin has asked the staff and officials who are filming dramas together with her to understand her situation in advance from the beginning of this year. Her close acquaintances already knew about her marriage plan,” the Youtuber revealed.
To recall, the 42-year-old star is set to return to the small screen with the rom-com K-drama Ask the Stars along with Lee Min Ho.
The tvN series is her K-drama comeback after When the Camellia Blooms in 2019.
The rom-com series, which is set to air sometime in 2023, has reportedly started its production.
Meanwhile, amid her busy schedule, it seems like the couple is now preparing for their upcoming wedding, slated in October.
With this, the entertainment reporter claimed that the couple is considering having their wedding location in New York, where Kevin Oh’s family resides.
“We have to consider the family background of Kevin Oh. He was originally living in New York,” the YouTuber said, adding, “Kevin Oh loves his family so much that he even became the church ambassador for his grandfather, who is a pastor.”

Moreover, the YouTuber also shared that the Jealousy Incarnate star was “considerate of Kevin Oh’s situation” and has agreed to have their wedding outside Korea.
Given that the couple only wanted a few guests for the ceremony, it seems like having their wedding in the U.S sounds feasible.

In addition, Lee Jin Ho also recalled the singer-songwriter’s 2020 music video which he reportedly filmed at his house in New York.

With this, Management SOOP released a statement once again confirming the news about the actress.
“Gong Hyo Jin and Kevin Oh will be starting a new chapter of their lives together,” the statement reads, as cited in a separate report.
