Girls' Generation members are literally everywhere as Sooyoung seals to lead in the new Kdrama, Strangers.
On March 9, 2023, the production team of the upcoming Kdrama revealed that Girls' Generation's Sooyoung had been confirmed for her role. Alongside the girl group member are actors Jeon Hye Jin, Ahn Jae Wook, and Park Sung Hoon.

Kdrama Strangers Storyline
Strangers is a comedy-drama that tells the story of a delightful relationship between a clumsy mother and her coolheaded daughter. The series is based on a popular webtoon of the same name.
Scriptwriter Min Seon-Ae wrote the script for the show, while director Lee Min-Woo, who have also worked on the Kdrama Cinderella and Four Knights, will direct the series.

Girls' Generation Sooyoung Plays Jeon Hye Jin's Daughter in New Kdrama Strangers
Leading the forthcoming Kdrama series are Girls' Generation Sooyoung and Jeon Hye Jin.
Jeon Hye Jin will breathe life into the character of Eun-Mi, a charming and cheerful physical therapist who still sees the beauty in life even though she is a single mother to a 29-year-old daughter.
On the other hand, Choi Sooyoung will portray Jin-Hee. She is the head of the patrol team at the local police station, which is in urgent need of cracking down on her mother rather than working on cases.
Sooyoung and Jeon Hye-Jin will present a unique mother-daughter relationship chemistry with their exemplary acting skills.
Meanwhile, Ahn Jae Wook will play Jin-Hong, an otolaryngologist who pursues FM life. He is a mysterious man who suddenly appears in front of Eun-Mi. Park Sung Hoon will portray the character of Jae-Won, the director of Namchon Police Station. His life experienced a twist when he met Jin-Hee.

Kdrama Strangers Release Date
The new Kdrama Strangers is set to be released in the second half of 2023. The main characters of the series have only been confirmed recently, and there is still no news about whether the cast members have already started filming.
