Here's What Happened Before The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses Episode 3
The title of The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses Episode 2 is The Girl I Like Asks Me Out, and it begins with Mie and Komura serving lunch in the school’s canteen.
Komura does his utmost to help Mie, who is clearly struggling to serve stew without her glasses.
She broke her glasses the other day, so she has to go to school without them, which Komura blames on himself.
After serving lunch, Mie handed Komura's share a generous amount of meat.
She purposely saved a lot of meat for Komura as a thank-you for his kindness the other day. This pleased Komura, even if his stew contained potatoes rather than chicken meat.
The following week, Mie forgot her glasses again after an entire week of wearing them.
This time, Mie brought a pair of contact lenses with her. But Mie can’t get used to wearing and removing it after being traumatized in the process.
This worried Komura, who suddenly declared his intentions to protect Mie and keep her safe regardless of whether she was wearing glasses or contact lenses. It was a bold declaration, and in return, Mie expressed her gratitude.
The next day, Mie was finally able to wear her glasses to school. However, the humidity causes her glasses to fog up and force her eyes to squint.
Also, Mie can’t recognize some of her classmates, but all that matters to her is that she can recognize Komura, much to the latter’s delight.
All of a sudden, Mie asked for Komura's LIME contact. They swapped phone numbers, and Komura was once again the happiest man after Mie informed him that she never felt ashamed asking him for help when she misplaced her spectacles.
Over the weekend, Mie sent a message to Komura, asking him to come and meet her at Kichichoji station.
As it turns out, Mie forgot her glasses after she fell asleep on the train; thus, she needs Komura to guide her to a place she has wanted to visit for quite a while now.
Komura agreed to Mie’s request, not expecting that the two of them would hold hands along the way.
It almost looks like they’re on a date, and Komura couldn’t get any happier!
They went inside a café, where Mie was craving a particular cake that was only served on Saturdays.
The thing is, Mie can’t exactly see where her cake is. It made Mie sad, which is why Komura decided to feed her.
It was so wrong on so many levels, but Komura managed to finish all 12 of Mie’s cake bites.
Afterward, they went inside an eyewear store to collect Mie’s new pair of glasses.
Komura thought that his mission for Mie was finally done, but the girl of her dreams wants him to stick around now that she can finally have a crystal-clear look on his face.
They spend the entire day together, eating out and playing games in the arcade.
It’s like a dream for Komura, who kept on pinching his cheeks. On the other hand, Mie kept thinking about Komura’s kindness on the way home.
Before the episode ended, Mie went to school with a cold. Her glasses are foggy due to her breath, but Komura doesn’t mind.
But when Mie saw how her classmates laughed at Tokita’s appearance after going to school with a mask and a foggy pair of glasses, she decided to take her specs off as well.
