It's no secret to a lot of people how controversial Gina Carano has become over the last couple of years. Even prior to her jaw-dropping ousting from Disney which stunned the entire Star Wars franchise in 2021, the former mixed martial arts fighter has constantly found herself on the receiving end of backlash, mainly for her "questionable" socio-political opinions she shares on social media.
Last September, Carano left fans intrigued when she disappeared from Twitter without warning and for reasons still unknown to many. Following Elon Musk's takeover of the platform as its new owner in October, the Cara Dune actress instantaneously returned to the site as if nothing happened but she seemed less contentious than before.
To be fair, it's been months since Gina stirred controversy online but just recently, her name once again became a hot trending topic on Twitter following a bizarre activity that left a lot of people scratching their heads. It turns out that the Deadpool star has been blocking random accounts on the platform, including Star Wars fans.

Just when it seemed like Carano is shying away from her negative social media image, it looks like the actress is still holding grudges for her unceremonious Disney firing and is taking it against fans of the Star Wars universe.
