Ghost Hunters Release Date, News & Update: TAPS Team Returns With New Episodes in April

Get ready to turn off the lights and hold on tight because Ghost Hunters is returning to your screens with a spine-tingling lineup of episodes that will leave you wondering what goes bump in the night.

Starting on Thursday, April 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, fans of the popular paranormal investigation show can catch all the eerie action on both the Travel Channel and Discovery+.

TAPS Team Returns on Ghost Hunters

Prepare to reconnect with the TAPS Team's Jason Hawes, Shari DeBenedetti, Steve Gonsalves, and Dave Tango as they boldly venture into the unknown to bring audiences more spine-chilling experiences.

This time, Discovery+ is collaborating with the Travel Channel to provide fans with twice as many opportunities to experience paranormal adventures in the comfort of their own homes. Audiences may anticipate tagging along with the crew as they hunt for the spirit world in prisons, mansions, the Hoover Dam, and other United States places.

New Celebrity Guest Each Week

Together with their ghost-hunting equipment, the TAPS Team will team up with a different celebrity in each one-hour episode.

Chandler Riggs from The Walking Dead will be the first guest star to join the cast in the season opener, Dead Man Walking. The TAPS team, together with Riggs and special investigators Satori Hawes and Cody Desbiens, will go to Hanford, California to investigate the town's widespread belief that the now-abandoned county jail known as The Bastille is haunted.

Since its construction more than 125 years ago, the structure has served as both a prison and a place of business, with each shop finally closing its doors and reporting terrifying tales of paranormal activity.

The Ghost Hunters team intends to help the souls haunting the ancient jail go on with their afterlives by gaining a deeper understanding of the gruesome and disturbing tales from the past.
