George Clooney and Amal Clooney just celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary. The power couple talked about their relationship, marriage and what's in them that drives their friends to madness.

George Clooney Says He And His Wife Amal Never Argued

The Clooneys celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary Tuesday. On Wednesday, they appeared on CBS Mornings, where they reflected on their relationship.

The Ocean's Eleven actor shared that he and his lawyer wife do not argue.

"It does start with love," George told Gayle King, Entertainment Tonight reported. "That's sort of the whole secret to it. It's just been easy. Like the easiest thing we have done in our lives thus far. We've never had an argument."

"It's madness to some of our friends," Amal chimed in.

The human rights attorney agreed with her husband that they do not fight. She also explained that a huge factor was probably finding the "right person." The couple has nothing but kind words when it comes to each other.

"I think that it's 99 percent luck just to meet the right person," Amal said. "And I think the one thing we would take is to not be cynical, just to be open, and I was surprised that you were not cynical or guarded at all and things just moved very quickly."

George Clooney Teaches Son To Be A Prankster; Couple Revisits First Meeting

George and Amal talk about how they met and their family in the same interview. They even shared how they felt the first time they met.

"It was easy, it was the minute she walked in the door, I was just taken by her," the Oscar-winning actor said about his wife. "And the fun part was, I didn't know whether she would like me or any of those things. And then she's this extraordinarily fun smart beautiful great woman and I was just very taken with her, and I started writing her letters."

Amal was as happy as Clooney that they had met. She admitted that she didn't expect they would share a "wonderful family" together.

"I met him, and I thought, 'I'm so glad that there is someone like him in the world,'" she said. "I didn't ever imagine that I would get to spend the rest of my life with him or that we would have this wonderful family. It took me by surprise."

Speaking about their family, the celebrity couple is now parents to 5-year-old twins Alexander and Ella. According to the human rights lawyer, their son is a prankster like his dad.

"Our son is now a big prankster," Amal said before turning to George, adding, "And you basically taught him these lessons and he's now pranking his dad back."

George added that their son's favorite superhero was someone he played in the past — Batman. The actor shared he told Alexander, "You know, I was Batman?" The toddler reportedly replied, "Yeah, but not anymore."
