General Veers is Coming to the Star Wars Black Series

Hasbro has been making some impressive figures ever since they started implementing face-printing technology with their toys, and their Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black Series have benefitted from it greatly. With the recent released of Imperials like Grand Moff Tarkin, a new Walgreens Exclusive has been revealed to be General Veers from Empire Strikes Back.

According to The Toyark, the figure is set to come out at Walgreens on June 18. Unlike previous Black Series figures, though, it looks to have a removable helmet and armor, so you can display him in his standard Imperial officer garb.

I can't help but think that this armor is also going to be implemented on the mudtroopers that we saw in Solo: A Star Wars Story. I'd love to see a figure of Han in that outfit.

Fans will remember General Veers as the AT-AT commander during the Battle of Hoth. Fans may also recognize actor Julian Glover, who has recently played Grand Maester Pycelle on the critically acclaimed Game of Thrones. Besides that, Glover has also appeared in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as well as the 2004 epic Troy.

Catch Veers in plastic form when he comes to shelves June 18.
