Game Of Thrones Season 8 Will See A Powerful Sansa And Arya Team-Up

The three remaining Stark children had a pretty heartwarming (and partly strange) reunion during the last season of Game of Thrones. Now that the fantasy epic's eighth and final season is on the way, Arya (Maisie Williams) and Sansa (Sophie Turner) are going to work closely together, aligning themselves with each other in the stand against the long winter.

Speaking in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Arya Stark actress Maisie Williams talks about her character's partnership with her sister, saying that their bond will grow and thrive in the final season of Game of Thrones.

During the seventh season of the series, fans got to see the Stark children work together to finally bring justice down on Lord Baelish's (Aidan Gillan) head after the conniving Lord of the Vale tried to turn the sisters against each other.

Now, it seems like the sisters will continue working as allies, relying on each other even against Jon's (Kit Harrington) decisions.

"It's not often you see a character siding with Sansa who's not manipulating her," Williams said during her interview with the publication, "This season you see Arya teaming up with Sansa and sometimes calling out Jon. It felt nice and powerful to stand next to Sophie."

While we've yet to see whether Arya and Sansa make it through the long night in the final chapter of Game of Thrones, fans are going to be glad to see the sisters getting along with each other, supporting each other in the series' darkest hour.

Game of Thrones Season 8 makes its way to HBO on Sunday, April 14.
