Once she is finally reunited with Arya Stark, Melisandre doesn't waste time talking to the young woman. She reminds Arya of what she had told her when they first met in the third season.

In the Season 3 episode The Climb, the Red Woman told Arya that she sees a darkness in the young girl. "In that darkness eyes stare back at me. Brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes. Eyes you'll shut forever," Melisandre had said.

That moment was brought back in The Long Night as Arya finally understood that she was meant to kill certain people with those eye colors. The blue eyes were clearly referring to the Night King and the brown eyes could have been Walder Frey's. But which character has green eyes in the series? Why, the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms herself, Cersei Lannister.

So does this mean that Arya is destined to kill Cersei in the final season? We will have to wait a little longer to find out. However, it wouldn't be much of a surprise now that we understand Melisandre's prediction.

Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 will air on HBO on May 5.
