Game Of Thrones Gets A Fire And Ice Anime Opening


It looks like Game of Thrones has a new anime opening.

It might seem a bit ironic considering the fact that HBO's phenomenal fantasy epic already aired its final episode last Sunday, but fans are on a high. Not only did pop culture fanatics get the episode "Iron Throne" from Game of Thrones, but they also got to see Attack on Titan air one of its best and most thrilling episodes to date.

Cutting scenes from the Battle of Winterfell in the eighth season of Game of Thrones and then slapping on a cool anime rock song, a fan created an anime opening for the series.

Taking sweeping shots of locations, dramatic fight sequences, expressive facial expressions, cool character stances, the video makes use of shots popularly scene in anime. We even get an ensemble-themed montage shot featuring the main and supporting characters as well as villain vs heroes kind of scene.

Over all, it's a pretty impressive anime opening for Game of Thrones.
