Game of Thrones Cameo & Character Sightings Spark Speculations

Shooting in Iceland has been well underway for Game of Thrones' seventh season. And while this is the setting for the Northerners, another cast member is joining the set.

Resident redhead and wildling Kristoffer Hivju shared over his Instagram a snapshot of himself with an LARC-XV vehicle, which is supposedly one that's found in Iceland (via Watchers on the Wall). He references himself as Tormund, so that's also a nice touch to the teaser.

There are also a couple of other well-known faces spotted in Iceland, including Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), Rory McCann (The Hound), and get this, Joe Dempsie (Gendry, Baratheon's bastard who's been missing for a few seasons now).

If that's not enough sighting, Watchers on the Wall also reported another band cameo ringing in for Game of Thrones season 7. This time, it's for the British band Bastille. It appears that they will be joining the cast as Wildlings for the final episode. How exactly they will be portrayed has yet to be confirmed.

Band member cameos are not a new thing in Game of Thrones. The likes of Coldplay's Will Champion and Of Monsters and Men have played musicians in some form in the HBO Original series.

However, considering that Bastille members are supposed to be wildlings, is it possible that another attack by the Night King is waiting in the wings of the season finale? It is, after all, the way that Mastodon had joined the show. For now, take these reports with a grain of salt until we get more updates.

Game of Thrones will be back on HBO this summer.
