Game of Thrones 8: Kit Harington Believes TV Finales in General are Never Satisfying

Game of Thrones is set to end with the eight season next year, and it's only natural that people will want to dig out whatever information they can from the stars. Kit Harington was asked about what to expect with the finale, but he thinks that it's not going to please everyone who's watching.

Talking to MTV News, Harington is asked if anything they've shot will satisfy the fans, to which he replies:

"I hope so. I think a TV series that's spanned 8–9 years is quite a difficult thing to end. I think not everyone is going to be happy. You can't please everyone. My favorite TV shows Sopranos, Breaking Bad, and The Wire, they all ended in a way I—you can't—It's never going to satisfy you."

The last season had Daenerys and Jon Snow finally coming together, only to have the reveal that Jon is actually the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen—basically Dany's nephew. It's said that the nature of their relationship will be addressed in the next season, and I think the show is clearly ambiguous when it comes to its stance with incestuous relationships.

We know that the White Walkers have also gotten through to the wall, so there's that fight to look forward to. Not to mention whatever Cersei is managing to cook up to keep herself in power.

It's been quite the ride for Game of Thrones fans, and hopefully most of us will end up satisfied with what HBO has to offer.

No specific release date has been announced for Game of Thrones 8, but we should expect it early next year.
