Future MCU Titles to be Revealed After Release of Spider-Man: Far from Home

Marvel Studios has found a steady pace by releasing three films a year, but so far the last film in the Marvel timeline that we know of is Spider-Man: Far from Home. We know that there are other movies in the works, but none of them have been officially announced. Tough luck because it looks like we have to wait until July to get official titles and release dates.

Talking to ComicBook, Marvel head Kevin Feige explained:

"As we've been doing for years, we aren't going to announce anything post Avengers: Endgame or Spider-Man [Far From Home] until post Endgame and Spider-Man… As you know as a fan, there's a tremendous amount of potential and a tremendous amount of additional characters and storylines and groups of characters that we're going to keep playing with. And again, that's a testament to Marvel and to the amount of storylines and characters and amazing, amazing runs that have been in the Marvel comics."

So far, we know that there is an Eternals film coming our way plus a Black Widow solo movie. Scott Derrickson has also come on board to helm the sequel to Doctor Strange. We also know that the script for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has been finished, but it seems like it will be a while before that movie sees an official release date.

Hopefully, we get don't have to wait for all the way until July to get an idea of what's coming to the MCU in 2020. Maybe we can get a small teaser after the release of Avengers: Endgame. If the Fox/Disney deal pushes through before Endgame comes out, we could be looking at a tease for the Fantastic Four or X-Men. Either way, I'm excited.

Catch Avengers: Endgame when it hits theaters April 26. Spider-Man: Far from Home comes out July 5.
