Disney fans are in for a big treat today. The Mickey Mouse House has just released the very first teaser trailer for Frozen 2 and it seems like Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel) are set for what seems like a dark adventure.
Walt Disney Studios just dropped a new teaser trailer for Frozen 2 today, and though the promotional video doesn't give away too many details about the plot of the upcoming animated movie, it does send a sense of urgency across fans spines.
Opening with a scene filled with dark, crashing waves on a gray shore, the teaser trailer for Frozen 2 shows Elsa running straight into the sea, using every bit of power she has to get through the ocean in the middle of a storm. Something doesn't seem right in Arandelle – in a short ominous sequence, fans get to see Anna opening her window to a city filled with hanging crystals of ice. Whatever's going on, it's clear that Anna and Elsa are being sent on a dark and urgent adventure along with their friends Olaf, Kristoff (Jonathan), and the reindeer Sven.
Running through oceans, scaling mountains, riding with a pack of deer - it's clear that Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff are racing against time. But for what?
With its precarious sequences and its urgent music, the teaser trailer really does get viewers pumped up for the Frozen sequel. We can't wait to learn more about what's to come Anna and Elsa's way. Hopefully, Disney releases a full trailer soon.
Frozen 2 premieres November 22, 2019.
