Frost is Now A Robot in Latest Reveal for Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat 11 comes out tomorrow and NetherRealm actually has one last character reveal up their sleeves. Just in, they've dropped the gameplay trailer for classic character Frost. What's more is, she's a robot now.

While Frost isn't as classic as the likes of Scorpion or Sub-Zero, she still has her own legacy in the game, making her debut in Deadly Alliance. She was said to be a student of Sub-Zero, but her arrogant attitude put her at odds with her own mentor and she saw a rival in Sonya Blade.

Frost is basically a lady version of Sub-Zero, but I like how they twisted up her story for this new game. Just like old character Scarlet, they've put a whole new spin on Frost, and she's a far cry from the from just being the "girl version of Sub-Zero." I guess a female ice robot was something I never thought the game needed until now.

With the game coming out tomorrow, I think there aren't any more characters left for NetherRealm to reveal. Of course, there are still new characters in the form of DLC content coming, but so far nothing official has been teased about them. A leak that did come out recently did tease that characters like the Terminator, Ash (Evil Dead), and Spawn are coming to MK11, along with classic characters like Sindel, Nightwolf, and Shang Tsung.

Mortal Kombat 11 will be playable April 23 for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
