Frank Miller Still Hasn’t Seen Marvel TV’s Netflix

Frank Miller might have been the comic book writer to help cement Daredevil as a popular and influential character in the Marvel comic book universe, however, it seems like he still hasn't been able watch Marvel Netflix's Daredevil adaptation.

Taking time to speak with Vulture in an interview about his various comicbooks and his thoughts on recent comicbook movies and television series, Miller reveals that he actually hasn't taken the time to see Daredevil just yet because he really hadn't had a chance to see it yet though he's really looking forward to seeing the series.

Miller's response is much more subdued compared to the time he told interviewers back in 2015 that the Daredevil showrunners could "do whatever they want" to Elodie Yung's Elektra who got killed off during the same season that introduced her.

"That's not her," Miller had protested. "I didn't make up Batman, I didn't make up Daredevil, I have no right to be possessive, but once I've worked on a character, it's hard to see any other way than my way. By and large, most of what they do, I'll just get grouchy if I see it. So I tend not to look at it, except for few exceptions."

We wonder what Miller would say after seeing the first season of Daredevil and whether he'd finally make time to check out the series, especially since the third season of the show's headed towards Netflix next year.

Meanwhile, as fans wait for Daredevil Season 3, Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock and Yung's Elektra are set to appear in The Defenders along with Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones, Mike Colter's Luke Cage, and Finn Jones' Danny Rand.

The Defenders is set to premiere on August 18.
