Former Batman Christian Bale had a Surprising Advice for Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson is out to prove that he has what it takes to be an effective Batman. After all, he got some tips from one of the best Batmans out there. The Batman director Matt Reeves has just revealed that Pattinson actually spoke to The Dark Knight trilogy star Christian Bale, who gave the Lighthouse actor some truly interesting advice.

Reeves and Pattinson took part in The Batman's panel at DC FanDome where they answered questions about the upcoming Warner Bros. film. At one point, the director was asked if Pattinson was involved in the creation of the new Batsuit and Reeves confirmed that the actor's comfort was important throughout the process. He then revealed that Bale actually spoke to Pattinson about the new Batsuit.

"Rob actually talked to Christian Bale, and Christian Bale was like, ‘Just make sure you're gonna be able to relieve yourself,'" Reeves said.

We're not exactly surprised that Bale's advice was all about practicality. After all, he had spent several hours in a Batsuit of his own and there is little doubt that he wanted Pattinson to get through the ordeal without too much trouble. Needless to say, we're loving the idea that Bale approves of Pattinson's version of the Caped Crusader.

Bale is expected to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick Thor: Love and Thunder, which is scheduled for release on February 11, 2022. The Batman will also star Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Barry Keoghan, Jayme Lawson, and Andy Serkis. The movie is scheduled for release on October 1, 2021.
