The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil anime just confirmed its release date ahead of the Winter 24 season’s start.
Previously, the anime only confirmed its January 2024 release window. Now, it has a proper premiere date, which will be early in January. This should be great news for rom-com anime fans.
Alongside the show’s release details, the anime also got a new trailer, which showed off more clips featuring the two main stars. What’s more, the series’ ending theme was also previewed.

Among the many Winter 24 anime, The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil should delight fans of romantic-comedy shows. After all, its Romeo and Juliet trappings should make it a must-see for fans of the genre.
The anime got a trailer before, but this new one shows off more funny clips that give fans a better idea of what to expect.
It also features a snippet of the ending titled Gift by Kaori Ishihara. She is a popular singer and voice actress who is best known for voicing Aladdin in Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic and Shouta in Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid.

As for the show’s cast, the two main stars are Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro in Jujutsu Kaisen) as Masatora Akutsu and Ayane Sakura (Ochaco Uraraka in My Hero Academia) as Lily Amane.
The other VAs are also big-name stars. These include Shuichiro Umeda (Akira Tendo in Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead), Nao Toyama (Ruka Sarashina in Rent-A-Girlfriend), and Rie Kugimiya (Happy in Fairy Tail).

The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil Gets January Release Date
The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil follows Masatora Akutsu, a demon who goes to Earth and goes undercover in a human high school, where he scouts for recruits in Hell’s war against Heaven.
There, he meets Lily Amane, a beautiful girl whom he tries to recruit. It turns out that Lily is an angel, and Masatora finds himself smitten with her.
It was finally confirmed that The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil will be released on January 9, 2024. The series will air on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, and AT-X in Japan.
Fans outside of Japan will be happy to know that the series will be streamed on Crunchyroll weekly in the US and other select regions.
