Disappointed by the turnout of Joss Whedon's work in Justice League, fans began campaigning for Zack Snyder's complete and unaltered version of the superhero film from Warner Brothers. Though a Snyder cut of the movie still hasn't materialized, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director has just revealed a few more details on how different the film would have been if he had been able to complete his work on the film.
Speaking with fans on Vero, Snyder's been taking a few questions regarding Justice League and his involvement with the DC Extended Universe.
During his conversation with fans, Snyder revealed that Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) was actually supposed to receive a second Flash Suit from Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck). Wayne was the one who recruited the speedster in the first place, so it'd be natural for him to gift the speedster with a second suit in the film.
For those who aren't aware of the controversy behind Justice League, Warner Bros. had Marvel director Joss Whedon come in and work on the reshoots for the film right after Snyder decided to leave to cope with the suicide of his daughter. Whedon did extensive reshoots for Justice League, but fans ended up hating the film's unnecessary sexist jokes. Since Justice League's premiere, fans have been calling for a Snyder cut of the film, hoping to see the version of the film that Snyder had meant for the big screen.
Though the director hasn't confirmed that a Snyder cut exists, the filmmaker has been fanning those flames by revealing new images and details from the movie that he had prepared for Justice League.
Right now we're not quite certain whether Snyder will return to direct any of the films in the DCEU, but the director has just recently confirmed that he will return to produce Wonder Woman 2 which premieres on November 1, 2019.
