First Birds of Prey Teaser Released

Not long after releasing one of Harley's new looks for Birds of Prey (And the Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), the first teaser to the 2020 DC movie has now been unveiled to the world. It's very brief, only lasting for 20 seconds, but it does offer looks at a number of the characters, including Huntress, Black Canary, and Victor Zsasz.

If you pause the video multiple times, you'll get decent enough looks at these characters. Granted, they barely last a second so you're gonna have to do a lot of pausing if you want a good look at them. Still, it's an intriguing enough teaser and does tease an interesting look for this film, managing to be colorful while feeling un-Marvel-like.

How this movie follows up the events of Suicide Squad is going to be interesting, though reports claim that Joker and Harley Quinn have called it quits. We don't know how she meets Huntress or Black Canary but hey, that's what the movie is for. The film's plot also has them rescue Cassandra Cain, adding more characters to the Bat-Family.

This could be an interesting character study for Harley since she did assist in the murder of Robin. We don't know how old this Robin was when he died but Harley suddenly wanting to rescue a kid might make her flashback to this moment.

Birds of Prey (And the Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) comes out on February 2020.
