First Batman: White Knight Collection Keeps Censored Sex Scene, Second One Might Not

When it was announced that the first graphic novel of Batman: White Knight would be a part of DC's Black Label line, fans got excited. This new mature publishing line from DC will let creators tell whatever stories they want with these iconic heroes and some have argued that White Knight was the precursor to this.

Since the graphic novel is now a part of Black Label, White Knight creator Sean Gordon Murphy was hoping it would feature the uncensored sex scene with Jack Napier (Joker) and Harley Quinn. Murphy even hyped this up on his Twitter but he has told fans that the first collection will keep the censors since it will be rated Teen +.

That doesn't mean a mature unedited version isn't in the works, fans will just have to wait a bit longer for it. Murphy said he is hoping to release this version of the story next year, so fans who want to see these two characters get it on without word balloons censoring their naughty bits will have to wait.

For those unaware, Batman: White Knight was an eight-issue mini-series that had The Joker become sane and be a proper savior to Gotham, whilst showing how The Dark Knight's brutal ways weren't helping anyone. It's an intriguing premise and has become a favorite amongst DC fans, so for those that haven't tried it yet, they can get the graphic novel.

The Batman: White Knight trade-paperback comes out on October 9.
