First Avengers: Endgame Clip Tells Us Where Captain Marvel Has Been

Marvel has released the first official clip of Avengers: Endgame and it's, well, just okay. It does hint at a few interesting story elements that fans will get a lot of mileage from but if you're expecting action or cool-looking fight scenes, you're out of luck. The clip mainly focuses on Captain Marvel's interaction with The Avengers but doesn't reveal much.

The clip starts with BruceBanner telling everybody that Thanos has used the Infinity Stones again, with the cosmic heroine then saying that they should just go for the Mad Titan. War Machine, Black Widow, and Banner are pretty hesitant about it but Captains America and Marvel are up for the task, thinking that they can bring everyone back with the Infinity Stones.

One reason why the clip is a bit disappointing likely stems from the fact that this is the CinemaCon footage shown last week. This is the exact description that didn't exactly impress writers and it's easy to see why. To be fair, you can't blame Marvel for this since they don't plan on spoiling anyone.

However, there is one neat thing about the clip; it sort of tells us where Captain Marvel has been. When War Machine asks Marvel where she's been, the cosmic heroine stated that there were other planets that needed her help and they didn't have groups like The Avengers. It adds more interesting layers to the character's background and we would like to see how future sequels explore that.

Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26.
