Final Fantasy VII Remake Will Reportedly Take Up 100 GB

Final Fantasy VII Remake is going to be a big game and we don't just mean its impact nor the possibility of it selling well. If this report is true, PS4 owners are going to need to remove some games for space since a photo shared online has seemingly confirmed that the remake will take up 100GB on the console. We wish this was more of a surprise but when it was announced that the game would come in two discs, most of us saw the writing on the wall.

This post was originally shared on Reddit but has since been hastily deleted. However, once something has been posted on the internet, there's no way in hell that it will be gone forever and can currently be seen on Push Square. Now, fans are wondering if this will actually be true, though the fact that it comes in two discs essentially confirms that.

Rockstar Games' Red Dead Redemption 2 also came in two discs and one of them was just there to add additional GB. That's the risk of these gorgeous games coming out and we can only hope that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X fix these problems in the future. Still, no matter the case, Final Fantasy VII Remake is coming in two discs and there's nothing we can do about it.

We're sure this won't bother fans who have invested on a 1TB or 2TB PS4 but everyone else should probably make some room or buy a compatible hard drive that adds space. Better to be safe than sorry y'all.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is coming out on April 10.
