Final Fantasy VII Remake Reviews Say That It's Everything You Ever Wanted

Final Fantasy VII Remake might not be out yet but the game has already been reviewed by a number of outlets. This is the moment that a lot of people have been waiting for and it looks like the game is more than worth it and then some. Obviously, this is very good news for a lot of us since a remake of Final Fantasy VII is something a lot of people have been waiting for and we can't wait to play it.

As of this writing, the game has a very impressive score of 87 on Metacritic with a total of 68 reviews. It might not be as high as Persona 5: The Royal, which has an amazing 95, but it's still a really good game and one that modern Square Enix can be proud of.

Critics have praised the gameplay and how side quests add some much-needed characterization, while also making the world a lot livelier. The game isn't perfect either, with some claiming that the middle portion of the game drags a bit and knowing that this isn't a "complete" package is sure to tick off some fans.

Still, when you consider how they basically recreated Midgar for a new generation, it's hard not to be happy with how the game turned out. Hopefully, Square Enix learns from some of the mistakes they made here and improves the next part, which will hopefully include Yuffie and Vincent Valentine.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will be coming out on April 10 for the PlayStation 4.
