Fandango And Other Online Sellers Are Crashing Thanks To Avengers: Endgame Ticket Sales

The tickets for Avengers: Endgame have gone on sale today, and it looks like there's been a frenzy because Marvel fans are having some trouble buying tickets on Fandango and other major sites. Ticket sellers online have been having issues with their sites ever since Endgame's tickets have gone on sale, probably because everyone's been trying to nab their seats to Marvel's most highly anticipated film of the year.

Marvel fans have been taking to social media to talk about their problems with the apps and websites of online ticket sellers like Fandango and AMC. In most of the cases on Fandango, fans in search of tickets for Endgame have been put on long wait lists and have been kicked out of the seller's app after picking out their seats at their desired cinemas.

Meanwhile, AMC main issues are with their AMC A-List subscribers. Either the seller's app crashes, or it refuses to load up properly.

Check out some of the horror stories fans have been sharing online:

Though hiccups like these can be expected during the start of ticket sales to major films like Endgame, sellers like Fandango and AMC should have been better prepared. Maybe they could have buffered their servers knowing that customers would crowd and crash their sites and their apps.

We're hoping that these sellers fix their sites soon. Fans have long since been waiting for tickets for Endgame to go on sale – they did everything to prepare to go online to make sure they get seats to the final chapter in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie. It'd be a shame if they wouldn't be able to reserve tickets for the film's premiere.

Avengers: Endgame is set to debut on April 26, 2019.
