Fan Suggests Hilarious Phil Coulson Introduction for Captain Marvel

With fans impatiently waiting for more details regarding Captain Marvel and Avengers 4, they have started discussing theories, character motivations, and scenes they would want to see. Reading through these have been pretty fun but there is one suggestion in particular that has caught the attention of many fans. It involves March's Captain Marvel and how it will introduce Phil Coulson.

Fans will remember how Coulson was involved in the scene that teased Thor's appearance in the MCU. This Reddit user suggests that Coulson gets introduced in a similar scene involving the acquisition of a "critical object" that ends up being the final Captain America trading card. As if that little detail wasn't genius enough, the fan suggested that Coulson get the card from Stan Lee himself.

I want the introduction scene of (young) Agent Coulson in Capt. Marvel to be him negotiating a tense acquisition of a critical object...only for it to be revealed it’s the last Captain America baseball card he needs to complete the set.

Simply put, Marvel needs to use this idea. At the least, they should see if the user is a writer and can contribute to the MCU in the future. Okay, that's a little much but there's no doubt that it's a very fun idea and would be awesome to see play out on the big screen.

We haven't seen Coulson appear in an MCU movie since The Avengers. He hasn't disappeared completely, being the lead star of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and all, but it'll be nice seeing him again in Captain Marvel.

Captain Marvel comes out on March 6, 2019.
