Falcon and The Winter Soldier Set Photo Confirms Awesome Baron Zemo Upgrade

There is little doubt that people are already looking forward to seeing Helmut Zemo back in action in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. However, it's almost like there's a completely different character that will be introduced in the highly anticipated Marvel series.

Daniel Bruhl, who previously portrayed Baron Zemo in Captain America: Civil War, has shared an interesting set photo on his official Instagram account. Check it out below.

Bruhl's chair on the Falcon and the Winter Soldier set might not seem like too much but it also confirms that his character will finally adopt his Baron Zemo persona. We already know that Helmut was a scary villain but becoming Baron Zemo just makes him even more terrifying.

When Helmut was introduced in Civil War, he was merely a Sokovian terrorist who was only interested in tearing the Avengers apart. To do so, he used Bucky Barnes against Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. With that in mind, his connection to Bucky should play an interesting part in the upcoming show.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will also bring back Sebastian Stan as Bucky, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, and Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter. The new addition to the Marvel series is Wyatt Russell, who will portray John Walker aka US Agent. The premise of the show is still a mystery but it could follow Bucky and Sam as they deal with the events following Avengers: Endgame.

The series has not yet been given an official release date. However, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is expected to premiere on Disney+ in late 2020.
