The highly anticipated sequel is still a season away, but fans are getting even more excited. That’s because Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest got a new visual that shows off the main cast's new looks.
This new visual was shared on the anime’s official website. While there’s still no official trailer for the anime, the visual’s release might mean we’ll get one soon.
Fairy Tail Cast and Staff Return for 100 Years Quest Anime
It has been over four years since the anime ended, and finally, fans can look forward to the Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest adaptation.
This upcoming anime is based on the ongoing manga by Hiro Mashima, and it serves as a direct sequel to the original Fairy Tail.
For this new anime, fans will be happy to know that the original voice cast members will return. Here is the list of confirmed voice actors that will be back:
- Tetsuya Kakihara (Jinpachi Todo in Yowamushi Pedal) as Natsu Dragneel
- Aya Hirano (Haruhi Suzumiya in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) as Lucy Heartfilia
- Rie Kugimiya (Taiga Aisaka in Toradora!) as Happy
- Yuichi Nakamura (Tetsuro Kuroo in Haikyuu) as Gray Fullbuster
- Sayaka Ohara (Milly Ashford in Code Geass) as Erza Scarlet
- Satomi Sato (Saki Hanajima in Fruits Basket) and Yui Horie (Tsubasa Hanekawa in The Monogatari series) as Wendy and Charle
Aside from the cast, previous staff members are also returning, including series director Shinji Ishihara who will serve as the chief director. He is joined by Toshinori Watanabe (Edens Zero) who will serve as the director.
As for the studio, this new series will be made by J.C. Staff, the studio behind shows such as Food Wars, Toradora, and One-Punch Man seasons 2 and 3.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Visual Features New Looks for Main Cast
When the new anime was revealed, it only got a short announcement trailer. Now, a new visual was shared that highlights the new looks of the main characters, including Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Erza, Wendy, and Charle.
Their new looks should look familiar to fans as they might appear the same at first glance, but looking at the details, their outfits have changed for the upcoming sequel.
With the visual’s release, fans can’t wait to see a proper trailer so that these beloved Fairy Tail characters can be seen in action once again.
Fairy Tail Sequel Anime Release Window Revealed
It probably won’t be long now until the official trailer gets released. After all, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is set to be released in July 2024.
For now, there’s no word yet on a specific release date. There’s also no info on how many episodes the new anime will have.
