Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi Series Might Feature The Clone Wars Flashbacks

We already know that the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series will take place after the events in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. However, there are still speculations that the Ewan McGregor show could also reveal secrets from the prequel trilogy films. Not surprisingly, fans believe this would mean the Disney+ series will have major flashbacks from The Clone Wars.

It was previously reported that Hayden Christensen is in talks to reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker in the Obi-Wan series. Although it's an exciting idea to see Christensen in action again, the news also had fans scratching their heads about the possible casting. After all, the show takes place after Revenge of the Sith when Anakin has already turned into Darth Vader. On the other hand, there may be a way to make Christensen's cameo work without changing the timeline.

According to Screenrant, there is a huge possibility that the series will feature flashbacks from The Clone Wars when Anakin and Obi-Wan were still fighting for the Republic. The idea of switching timelines throughout the show would be an interesting way to tell Obi-Wan's story. However, it's important to point out that Christensen's casting has not yet confirmed so it would be best to take this with a grain of salt.
