It took 115 episodes of the excellent Pokemon Sun and Moon anime for it to happen, but he's finally here. The myth. The man. The legend. The leader of Team Skull and your favorite idiot Guzma has made his anime debut and it was pretty great. Maybe not as great as that intro would have you think, but the well-loved baddie definitely made an impression.
As can be seen here, Guzma gets his own introduction song done by one of the mooks of Team Skull and it's pretty great, even for those that don't understand Japanese. We can only hope that this song plays every time he enters a room since it would make him stand out when compared to the series' other villains.
Then again, he's Guzma and already stands out so I don't know what I'm talking about.
Fans will also be happy to see Guzma with Golisopod, the Pokemon most associated with the Team Skull leader. He had this Pokemon during the Sun and Moon games, and in the Ultra installments as well, so seeing Golisopod in battle was pretty fun. Here is hoping that we see more of Golisopod soon.
