According to Wikipedia, the 51-year-old star has successfully made a name on TV. She’s best known for her roles in the Showtime series Nurse Jackie, the American Experience TV special, and the BBC miniseries The Honourable Woman.
She was also part of the 2010 movie The King’s Speech and had several other TV and movie credits.
Her early performances were with the W11 Opera children’s opera company in London. But her Broadway debut was in the 2007 revival of A Moon for the Misbegotten, winning the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Play and receiving the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play nomination.

In an interview with The Guardian, the English beauty opened up about House of the Dragon and how she got the role of Princess Rhaenys Velaryon.
Eve Best revealed that everything was kept under wraps, even the process of auditioning for the series.
"Everything was very secretive. To audition, we were initially sent a scene from the original Game of Thrones with the names changed. We weren’t even told the title of the new show,” she said. "When eventually I was sent a real script, I loved the writing. Ryan [Condal] and Miguel [Sapochnik, co-showrunners] hooked me in immediately with the driving theme of the series.”

She then revealed she was instantly in when she learned her role was a dragon rider.
But despite the fame and success of the parent show Game of Thrones, Eve Best didn’t know anything about it.
"I was a complete Game of Thrones virgin,” she continued. “I knew it was a big deal but was unprepared for the sheer, gobsmacking scale of it."

"Walking onto the set was like walking into New York, but instead of towering skyscrapers, it’s Dragonstone,” she added. “The crew was nearly 4,000 people, which was jaw-dropping. I’ve caught up since."
