Evangeline Lilly Is Still Hoping For That All-Female Marvel Movie

It looks like the women in the Marvel Cinematic Universe haven't given up on the idea of an all-female movie just yet.

Ant-Man and the Wasp actress Evangeline Lilly might have just recently reprised her role as The Wasp in the Ant-Man sequel, but the actress already wants to make her way back to the big screen, especially in that all-female Marvel movie that was originally pitched by Thor: Ragnarok's Tessa Thompson.

"Dude, there's talk of an all-ladies MCU movie amongst the MCU ladies," Lilly told ComicBook.com. "We would love to do that, and I think we should all put as much pressure as possible on Kevin [Feige] to make that happen."

According to Lilly, she just can't wait to return as the Wasp, hoping to suit up again as soon as possible. Of course, we're going to get to see her again in Avengers 4, but it'd also be pretty great to see The Wasp in even another Marvel movie. Lilly probably really enjoyed her time as a superhero in the Ant-Man sequel.

Though the thought of seeing Lilly and Scarlett Johansson, Danai Gurira, Elizabeth Olsen, Letitia Wright, Tessa Thompson and all the other female Marvel heroes gathered together in an all-female Marvel movie, Marvel's definitely got a lot of films already in its roster. We'll just have to wait and see whether Marvel will finally listen and place the all-female movie in its line-up.

Ant-Man and the Wasp premieres July 6.
