Eternals Director Confirms Awesome [SPOILERS] Post-Credits Cameo

Eternals is finally out and just like every Marvel Cinematic Universe flick, it has a couple of post-credits scenes. While the first one teases on the future for the team, the last one confirms we'll see another hero eventually joining the fight. In addition to that, there's a surprise cameo from a certain character that Chloe Zhao has just confirmed! WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

In the Eternals post-credits scene, Dane Whitman is shown looking through his ancestors' belongings. He finds an old chest containing Ebony Blade and just as he realizes it is the legendary sword, he hears a voice behind him asking, "Sure you're ready for that, Mr. Whitman?"

Fans were thrilled to hear the voice which sounds exactly like Mahershala Ali. Interestingly, Zhao has confirmed with Fandom that it is none other than Eric Brooks himself.

"That was the voice of one of my favorite superheroes, Mr. Blade himself. Blade, Blade, Blade, yeah!" the Eternals director confirmed excitedly.

We can't really blame Zhao for being so excited about having Blade in her film, albeit in a surprise voice appearance. It's a cool cameo although we don't get to see Ali as the vampire hunter but it's also awesome to note that he could be working with Black Knight in the future.

For now, it is unclear whether Kit Harington's character will be working with Blade immediately. However, fans are already hoping that the cameo means Black Knight will be one of Ali's important allies when Blade is released in the future. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
