Emiliar Clarke Bids Game Of Thrones Farewell

It looks like Emilia Clarke's done shooting her scenes and is now saying goodbye to Game of Thrones.

After filming her final scene on set, Clarke, the actress who plays the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen, in HBO's popular fantasy epic, just recently went on social media to post a tribute to her character.

Taking to Instagram, Clarke decided to share a selfie of herself in a bed of flowers sending out a little message to the friends she made while working on Game of Thrones.

"Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade," the actress wrote on her post. "It's been a trip @gameofthrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I'd be able to live and the family I'll never stop missing #?#lastseasonitis."

Though Clarke didn't explicitly say that she was done shooting her scenes for the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, her post implies that the actress has finally come to an end. Clarke's co-stars' comments on the post also seem to imply that the actress isn't coming back anymore.

"Sweet words. Love you and HOLY balls. #itistheend," Lena Heady commented on Clarke's post.

Jason Momoa, the DCEU star who played the late Khal Drogo during the first season of the series also wrote on Clarke's Post, saying that he was "proud" of his Khaleesi. Even John Bradley-West dropped a line, writing that "It's been the best. Ever. And you've been incredible."

Though it doesn't come as a shock to see Clarke finally saying goodbye knowing that we've come to the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, we just can't help but wish the series would go on a little bit longer.

Game of Thrones season 8 premieres sometime 2019.
