The attention may have shifted to the live-action series, but the One Piece manga continues to heat up. Recently, series creator Eiichiro Oda gave fans their first look at the One Piece Volume 107 cover, and it features some of the most important characters in the current arc.
Oda shared the new cover via a time-lapse of the initial sketch. The sketch did not show the final version, but fans should expect to see the actual cover to look close to this.

One Piece's next volume is set to release this November, so it follows that Oda gave fans a glimpse at what to expect from the cover. Oda did the same in previous volumes, including last year’s Volume 103.
On this next volume’s cover, we can see Luffy at the front, though he is flanked by Koby and Sabo. Also shown prominently on the cover is Marine legend Garp, as well as “Big News” Morgans.
Along with these, Oda also drew some of the Marines that were present in the confrontation between the Marines and the Blackbeard Pirates.

As you can see, Oda’s initial ideas for the new volume were wildly different. There was even an initial version where Kuzan will be prominently shown.
In the end, Oda went with this version given that most of the characters on the cover have prominent roles in the Volume 107 chapters.
Interestingly, Oda still drew Monkey D. Luffy there despite the Straw Hat Captain not being part of the chapters.

One Piece Volume 107 to Release in November
The past year has been a great one for One Piece fans. After all, early 2022 saw the debut of Luffy’s Gear 5.
Soon after, One Piece Film: Red was released, and it became the biggest movie in the franchise.
All the while, the manga’s Egghead Island arc revealed lots of info about the One Piece world and its history.
To put the cherry on the cake, Netflix’s One Piece broke the live-action anime adaptation curse by becoming a huge hit.
The rest of 2023 will be a great one for fans as well as One Piece Volume 107 will be released on November 2, 2023. Its English release may still be some time away, but the new volume may give us another Oda SBS.
Along with this, fans can also look forward to this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade as it will feature a huge Luffy balloon.
