The Norwegian actress and production designer Kristine Kujath Thorp is best known for playing the starring roles of Sofia in the 2021 flick North Sea, Rakel in Ninjababy, and for playing Signe in 2022's Sick of Myself.
Thorp was born in 1992 and went to Royal Danish Design School majoring in Production Design. You can check more of her works in the 2018 music video Nina Massara: Postcard to New Orleans and in the series, Doggystyle.
In her early days of acting, she usually starred in short films starting in 2012, but from then on, has been nominated and won acclaimed awards for Best Actress.
Thorp has been nominated as Best Actress in the 2020 Ekko Shortlist Awards for Under Bølgerne, Over Skyerne, in 2021's Amanda Awards for Ninjababy, and another time in 2022 at the Amanda Awards for The Burning Sea.
Meanwhile, she won Best Actress for Ninjababy at the Amanda Awards in 2021, in 2023 during the Dublin International Film Festival for Sick of Myself, and most recently, in 2023's Filmkritikerprisen for Sick of Myself.

Who is Edel Helene in The Promised Land? Meet Frederik de Schinkel's Cousin
Edel Helene is the cousin of Frederik de Schinkel, aka the aristocrat who refuses to let the soldier settler Ludwig Kahlen (played by Mads Mikkelsen) tame the wastelands he calls his home.
In the short trailer for The Promised Land, Edel Helene is mostly seen as the fiancée of de Schinkel who acts behind his back.
At one point, the cultivated woman was seen talking to Kahlen, which led to secretly meeting him behind her cousin's back.

In 18th century Denmark, Captain Ludvig Kahlen (Mads Mikkelsen) – a proud, ambitious, but impoverished war hero – sets out to tame a vast, uninhabitable land on which seemingly nothing can grow. He seeks to start farming crops, build a colony in the name of the King, and gain a noble title for himself. This beautiful but forbidding area also happens to be under the rule of the merciless Frederik De Schinkel, a preening nobleman who realizes the threat Kahlen represents to his power.
