Deadpool Creator Wants the Rock in Deadpool 3

Minor Spoilers for Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw

Fans were fairly surprised when Ryan Reynolds appeared in Hobbs & Shaw for a short interaction with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The two showed very good chemistry and everyone wants to see them team-up for some kind of buddy-cop action movie. Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld, being the comic book hype man that he is, suggested that The Rock play Garrison Kane for a possible Deadpool 3.

It turns out that The Rock is listening and would like to know more about this Kane character.

On Twitter, Johnson told Liefeld that he was interested in playing the character, asking the comic book creator how they can get Garrison Kane alone with Deadpool. The actor acknowledged his great chemistry with Reynolds, which shows that he might be interested in a future Deadpool 3 appearance.

Frequently running into Deadpool in the comics, Garrison Kane first appeared in X-Force #2, way back in 1991. The character was a part of Cable's mercenary group Six Pack, something that The Rock has. Garrison Kane isn't what you would call a major character, though he does have a fun design and The Rock could always make him cooler than he actually is.

As of this writing, there are no plans for a Deadpool 3, though both Kevin Feige and Bob Iger have said that Disney and Marvel would be absorbing the franchise. We'll have to wait and see if Dwayne Johnson does appear, though the movie will definitely be R rated.
