Dream is a new light-hearted and touching South Korean film. But aside from Park Seo-joon and IU, who stars in Dream Kdrama?

The film follows the story of a professional football player who takes on the role of coaching a team of homeless players as they take part in the Homeless World Cup tournament.

For starters, Dream stars The Marvels star Park Seo-joon as Yoon Hong-dae, the professional football athlete who becomes the coach of the homeless team.

Seo-joon's other films include Parasite and Midnight Runners. He is also famous for his role in Itaewon Class, Hwarang, and What's Wrong With Secretary Kim.

Jong-soo plays 55-year-old Kim Hwan-dong who was once a CEO but was a philanderer who abandoned his family. Due to the 1997 IMF crisis, he lost everything and has since been forced to live on the streets.

After facing jail, he was released with nothing. This led him to beg for alcohol for five years. When he was hospitalized, he was able to start working again and saving money for his estranged family.

Jung Seung-gil as Son Beom-soo

Seung-gil plays 44-year-old Son Beom-soo who doesn't have a really interesting past. But he loves a woman with a mental disability.

When he was younger, he worked hard and saved money to buy a small house. But after encountering an accident from the construction site where he worked, all his money went to his medical expenses.

He was forced to sleep in the streets after his symptoms became chronic. He was beaten up by some thugs, which left him with an infection.

The incident led him to meet a woman, who did not fail to show compassion for him.

Chang-seok stars as 44-year-old Jeon Hyo-bong who has one of the most touching stories in the film. He has a daughter in elementary school with his ex-wife.

Unfortunately, his ex got married to an Australian man and they plan to leave the country soon.

Because of Hyo-bong's kind heart, people usually took advantage of him. Unfortunately, one of his friends fooled him into trusting him; which led Hyo-bong to lose all his money and his family.

Yang Hyun-min as Jeon Moon-soo

Hyun-min stars as 29-year-old Jeon Moon-soo who claims he was part of a gang in the past. Moon-soo also says he is only acting homeless since he is on the run.

But as So-min says, Moon-soo has an unpredictable personality.

Hyun-woo stars in the movie as Kim In-sun, a replacement for one of the team members after getting injured.

His back story is revealed to be quite a tragic one. When he was seven, his parents drugged him before they committed suicide. At the orphanage, he was bullied for having aphasia.

But he grew up with a female friend, who later became his girlfriend. Unfortunately, she was among those who were reported missing after a tragic company picnic. But because her body was never found, In-sun believes she is still alive.

Whenever he can, he posts posters at the train station hoping to get information on where his loved one is. Hong-dae manages to convince him to join the team by letting his story be shared in the documentary and hopefully find where she is.

Dream is a really interesting movie that shows the struggles that homeless people go through on a daily basis. It's definitely worth watching if you're looking for a light-hearted Kdrama to watch.
